Located to the West of Languedoc, at the entrance of watershed point of Naurouze, the vineyards of Malepère is open on the Atlantic Ocean, and separated from the Mediterranean by the imposing Massif of Corbières. It has a transitional climate between the Mediterranean and Oceanic climates. The vineyard is exposed to humid Westerly winds from the Atlantic and the nNrth wind searing Languedoc. According to the exposure of the vineyards microclimates exist.
